For the purpose of this evaluation, the work site is considered energized. No work shall be conducted while in an energized state. The participant is required to de-energize and lock out and tag disconnect, and confirm de-energization prior to removing any panel or transformer covers and as long as any system work is being performed. Additionally, all participants will be required to provide and wear basic personal protective equipment. (Steel toed safety boots, hard hat, eye protection, and leather gloves.)  h' |, n) N' ]9 R

# c* [8 Z/ ?4 B5 Q# _During completion of the evaluation, it is expected that the participants will keep the general working area free of safety hazards including removing waste or excess tools and material.

All hand tools required to complete the practical skills evaluation will be furnished by the Electrical Industry Training Center of Alberta and available for your use. If you wish to use your personal hand tools bring them with you at the time of the evaluation.

4.        Conductors

        Must be marked or colored as per section 4 of the Canadian Electrical Code Book-color of conductors
& h8 N: z% h0 q2 ZNOTE: use of Orange, Brown, Yellow for 347v lighting5 H7 P& X# s9 z& N( K0 o2 j
        Identified neutral conductors must be white used in accordance with CEC section 4(use of identified conductors)
. v' d. E; p  O# N/ v        The correct size of conductor must be used as per Table 2 of the CEC

        Shall be armored type (BX cable) installed and supported according to CEC section 12 use and running of cable between boxes.

        Shall be electrical metallic tubing(EMT)

        Conduit fill will be in accordance with section 12 maximum number of conductors
8 J  G1 P9 K9 N) u, {        You will be required to bend 90º bends, box offsets and a offset over a barrier using a 1/2” EMT hand bender
  Q$ ]% p/ m  T9 ?, ~        You must use appropriate fitting as per CEC section 12 connections and couplings
- i9 c9 k; p) C3 {" B        Sealtite flexible conduit will be used for the motor connection.  It will be installed in accordance with CEC section 12 rules.

        Transformers primary feeds will be sized for a 40 amp 600 volt circuit breaker as per CEC section #4 ampacity of wires and cables and section 26
6 E8 C4 b5 v5 F! O. P  c2 k( H        Transformer secondary feeds shall be color coded as per plans and specs section 4 CEC color of conductors using appropriate tape1 A- h7 b* d; d2 r

        Conductors will be marked or colored as per CEC section 4-color of conductors
' @: r' b# D1 y        Fusing for the motor will be sized according to the CEC section 28 branch circuit over current protection& z  z8 l7 A6 a) O
        Overload heaters for the motor shall be sized according to the CEC section 28 Rating or trip selection of overload devices
) {: ^. D$ v) c! f* z        Motor control circuit shall be as per plans and specs5 K3 r9 Q* R" {- V: X' A% ]

2 h5 Q+ Y& S7 T3 ^# Z9.        Grounding and Bonding
) x' }3 y5 b4 ?% f; ~  O7 W% g0 K" V# j$ k2 k
        Transformer grounding shall be installed as per section 10 grounding connection for AC system7 I# H3 R8 f- [) I
        Ground Conductor will colored as per CEC section 4 color of conductors; i" h  O8 H1 g( \
        Ground conductor will be sized according to CEC section 10 Grounding conductors size for AC systems and for service equipment
+ f4 \( f: e  f3 U! p8 L& c9 l$ \10.        Devices

2 m3 n7 W9 P( h, M' j        Shall be as per specs and drawings for appropriate voltages* \" k/ a- N1 ^# y$ W( Z
        Bonding of devices shall be as per CEC section 10 Bonding Conductor connection to circuit and equipment/ u) h( q+ L% C7 g1 @( A
        Material for bonding conductors2 \! |, y9 {$ o- {7 a( |

( A$ f4 Z! l" o8 n11.        Evaluation Criteria' o1 H4 x- s: k! z7 f) n

' K! ^- T+ [, q+ KFor an item to be considered for evaluation it must be complete. The completion of any item is based on its usability. For example a raceway would only be evaluated if it were complete and ready for the installation of wire and cables. Wiring would only be evaluated if all of the required wires were installed in the raceway. Installations (Individual items listed below) which are not complete will not be evaluated.$ S/ U7 p) P4 G, ^
  
! s" V% w5 B, o' f/ ~0 J  `* `You will be graded on the completion of the required trade skills based on the following criteria;
8 \5 @0 p. e( Z$ U8 C- [2 _Complete and functionally operable: This analysis evaluates if the item being scored would operate correctly if the system was energized. (Ignoring any code compliance and method of installation).                        
# S' ?9 t# H8 F$ E' {) s+ R" VMeets Canadian Electrical Code requirements: This analysis evaluates the code compliance for this item, taking into account both the CEC and any local codes.: W* \7 L5 i+ J  T' V, U% C8 S
Work is completed in a Workmanlike manner: This analysis evaluates the method, neatness and overall quality of the installation.

如果这真的是目前的考题的话, 那此举就大大的不妥了.
