The company I am working in is hiring organic chemist now.
Whoever had experience before is highly encouraged to apply.

If you have a master or ph.d degree, you are highly encouraged to apply.
Around 25 chinese scientists are working in the company. Everyone likes to help you, just if you ask. In most of time, you are working on your own project.
This is a really good chance. $50,000 for Ph.D and ~$38,000 for master.
Nothing will be hurt for a try.

The company is a contract company to do research work for Pfizer (the largest drug company in the world), AstraZeneca (the 5th drug company) and some other drug companies. The research chemists will work in group to synthesize potential drug analogues for those companies. Some targets are relatively simple, some are quite challenge. So your research ability will be very important to finish the projects. For most of the targets, those contracting companies might provide some suggestion approaches. But some of them will not work. So it will be our responsibility to design new ways to synthesize the compounds. You need to be farmiliar to Beilstein, Scifinder for literature search. Practically, you need many synthesis experiences, but this can be built up after you join the company. Right now, our company just signed a big contract with AstraZeneca and need ~20 chemists. It would be a very good chance to join pharmaceutical industry now.
If you have more questions, bring them up. As far as I know, the new project will start very soon, maybe the beginning of Oct. So try your best and take this chance. Good luck.
