Primary Focus  
The Pipeline Integrity department is looking for a Senior Engineer to provide engineering analysis, expertise and direction related to crack threats on pipelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of programs, with a strong focus on inline inspection programs that identify, monitor, and mitigate these pipeline threats.

8 |) n: z0 n& c# E9 J" y* D The primary responsibilities are to:

Provide technical expertise related to fracture assessment and fitness for purpose calculations as related to crack threats.
" A* z- p' {0 g8 e+ Q
-Provide technical expertise related to field NDE, specifically ultrasonic NDE detection and sizing methods.

$ e# L2 ~) u/ x/ I# H2 ]-Provide technical expertise related to inline inspection tool selection and development of mitigation programs as related to mechanical damage and geotechnical threats.

-Develop of these programs includes selection of features, development of associated trending, and determination of reinspection intervals.

Serve as an internal technical expert on fitness for purpose assessments.

Ensure that all standards and procedures related to crack management programs are up to date and available to all users.

# N/ j4 X. }6 z1 J% JMaintain leading edge expertise related to pipeline crack threat through ongoing review of industry publications, attending appropriate training and industry conferences.

Provide leadership related to the assessment developments to meet company's needs.

6 z/ E. W6 F6 |2 j# lRepresent Enbridge on appropriate industry committees (e.g. PRCI, CSA) and meets with other industry representatives to be aware of trends, new developments and changes in the industry that may affect Enbridge.  
Qualifications  
9 N- S/ c2 R' m% R/ O Bachelors degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of related experience. Or a masters degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.

- u0 Y8 r' u' }/ \) FRequires exceptional communication and report writing skills.

: H9 r5 g8 E1 o$ [8 U4 hSelf-motivated, independent, innovative, responsible and a team player.

" W$ d. B4 G% F7 A; |) l, A' pProject management experience and the ability to work within a large organization.

A good functional knowledge of computer applications applicable to the Pipeline Industry.

A broad based, solid understanding of the business of pipelines is important.
