Job Purpose
/ F; N9 u, j+ Z9 nEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
) J  d( z6 m9 t' joperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
; j% i9 m: v' O+ K9 T$ Pcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
2 {- A/ o; P5 Jthe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
4 B" Y3 i! o! e4 RCustomer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
% W2 _+ n) W: n+ Q' \+ @# K• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
! F& _! }; X; h& T" ?3 Y) a( v5 j• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
" [  U5 q4 |: G1 h% z• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
7 M) [% O, ^( Y8 u# J+ b1 T6 K% F• Protect company assets at all times
( P: P2 {- L6 H8 |7 ]: L# k9 o• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
+ G0 v$ a6 D/ i- T• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills

changes in strategies

Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
( @4 E9 C/ v6 C- @3 A• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
