7 \$ V1 L( \0 n0 U6 Q! z% T7 ]& v Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
7 ~2 E7 t7 q: f5 L" y/ J Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
. v& K8 g, o* F6 W7 J1 ] Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
+ `, K  m2 R3 C% l: A Completing required paperwork.
) g% `$ {4 t# u4 _0 }7 p# C Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
& x9 W/ I1 T- @7 w' d+ W Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
! Q5 n# ]  `8 c4 E) @! g2 U: U  b Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
' E, y0 e2 R8 Z& f Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:
- N3 a( R) u1 E! [
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.

- J7 O5 O5 t6 z3 M$ R% |. A; K8 U Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
' c, u" A" u. m. ?( ?( V" M Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

3 ^/ y4 B3 G6 K" m8 jThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
) x4 w# F; X: }  H% m1 jstarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
