# `: K! n% U6 YAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
$ d& y1 L$ Q8 Q+ ]Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
! l i( a9 M7 z1 ]1 u; y/ KPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed: O, j. O) t a, v6 l. s
Performs related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
8 Z2 v7 G3 |& e- O! X% _' C* i4 tDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
3 n3 f6 O* F5 O' k1 SSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset3 [0 {; e% a, o F" u' m" @2 i$ K: g
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred- k# `, \/ p+ L) A
