Mandatory Qualifications:

•        Several years of practical experience in Trade Finance activities
/ C7 y8 S- U! e- ^3 C2 U0 j
+ p; q- U3 U4 E7 j" I•        Thorough and complete knowledge of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, the Bills of Exchange Act, INCOTERMS, world shipping practices, and Canadian / Foreign customs
! S! [7 H1 ~4 S. v: G! g" T$ x
/ }( @: V+ N' K% p$ r•        Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, International Law and Customs relating to Letters of Credit and Bank policy as high level transactional support to customers is required

•        Capable of applying knowledge in accurately assessing / mitigating transaction and compliance risks and making judgemental decisions on problem transactions

•        Comfortable working in an environment involving significant risk exposure to the Bank.

•        Possess an ability to evaluate high risk, complex transactions and make recommendations to the Senior Assistant Manager to minimize and or mitigate potential losses to the Bank and its customers.
