Job Description:' k- _; w& I$ J# p
To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.' G/ w$ v8 ~( W

# `# t% c% O* {0 m5 t• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
- `/ L# o1 t: x2 h" s• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
( h" Q, e4 t- O$ r- ]$ j. k• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
, K# V% b* @4 ^$ N• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;) Q( Y- L7 l  \, ^. ]2 k% g
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.+ f- q% u' d/ N2 ^% h+ K5 W
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
/ y$ ~, r0 x' s0 p8 J8 [8 y• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
. T( r1 \2 L) B, {* L" G• Participate in trade shows;

• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
9 N, W0 x6 Y! ~& e! m; S• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property: v  n0 Q7 \3 s; k: B% b
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;8 d- W9 V6 g- B) T0 q1 ~& e6 f
• Ability to lead and develop;7 ^4 N& N# M/ s. l
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
8 {+ F! ^* z7 D• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;/ L  @0 b! h) ]
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;% K1 X6 }' e: e5 f; F# [

• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
