To prepare for an interview it is a good idea to investigate the company you would like to invest your talents. Does your passion and purpose match the company? If you have investigated the company you will automatically have some questions. Asking the right questions shows that you are prepared.

挺负责的,在改简历前,我们在咖啡厅聊了一个小时,一个礼拜收到简历,然后又在咖啡厅聊了半个小时。觉得很不错。不管怎样,人家也花了时间和你见面来了解你。 人很实在, 推荐

Tips for the telephone interview
2 a' ^- R* n& P& u+ s& o, P# F  W" [/ a- N. z$ k! j* l6 T

1 C- O8 V6 L3 u$ t, e5 `/ `$ S1 {  ~
+ @. J5 _+ t1 IYou might think that the best thing about a telephone interview is that, like a radio presenter, you don't have to worry about how you look.3 g- r6 i6 ~3 Y# M
3 |# S1 c& w$ h& i
But, an interview is still an interview even if you don't have to go to their offices. You need to be as prepared and well presented as you would be for a face to face interview.3 V9 h+ S1 b6 [) i6 X! ~
6 ?' W: O1 ]+ Y- T* ?8 C/ _
Initial interviews by telephone are more common than they used to be. It's an inexpensive way to screen candidates in the initial stages of a recruitment campaign. The recruiter may just be looking for a confident manner and intelligent responses to some set questions. But don't take anything for granted. You may find you are on the phone for an hour and a half and are expected to answer detailed questions about previous roles and achievements.' c# s# p$ ?2 a- ~( X5 u
5 z& S  j; b5 b8 W5 G# y# _8 x* X
Don't allow yourself to be caught on the hop. If you're not able to make some quiet time when they call then set a time for the interview to take place. You have to be a bit more organised about the telephone interview because it's on your home turf. Make sure you won't be interrupted and be sure to charge your phone in advance. Keep a copy of your CV by the phone and all the other relevant information you might need. Prepare and compose yourself in advance. If you sound confused and disorganised you might not get a second chance.
5 W" U, x, E+ h7 c
4 I8 U9 x% k1 M4 j' s( k( |You should have some information from the prospective employer about the role and company. Think about answers you might give to their questions, particularly with regard to competency based questions. Do your research and prepare some questions to ask them exactly as you would for a regular interview.

Common Job Search Challenges:
7 L1 Y+ D5 L' i9 o  P
1 N/ a4 D4 v- o: k. U1. You need a job, any job, now. This feeling can lead you to send resumes to jobs that are not right for you. In interviews, you’ll tell the hiring manager what you think he wants to hear, so you may come across as unfocused. Even if you get hired, the job may not be the right one for you. Look for income streams to support you while you conduct your search. Consider part-time or temporary positions to ease your financial worries while you search for a full-time job. ) u& F. K$ j' j3 D

3 t$ y% u+ m( H! a9 q# f2. You don’t know what you want. Maybe you know that you’re not happy in your current job, but you’re not sure what needs to change. You may be tempted to take a scattershot approach just to see what’s out there, but an untargeted search is generally a waste of time. Spend some time reviewing career websites, books, or working with a staffing agency that can help you narrow your search.
' r) V. U  S" g& j% l
) U0 \& S. L! d9 D  U; w3 n( |3. You’re not finding opportunities. Many of the best jobs are never advertised. If you can’t find openings in your field or with the company where you want to work, you may need to do some legwork yourself. Attend networking events to get to know the hiring managers in your area. Engage with target companies on social media. Some companies depend on staffing firms to find the right people for them. Reach out to some local firms to find out if they know of suitable positions for you. 8 y1 [# m* _4 m2 G1 _2 f; z6 P
0 S! U* |/ f" E& M) X. S
4. You’re not getting interviews. Take a more critical look at your resume or have a friend look it over. Are you targeting your resumes to each position you reply to, or are you just sending the same one everywhere? Are you including a cover letter that shows the reader how right you are for the position? Your cover letter should draw parallels between the requirements in the job posting and your experience.
/ [( ~' W; N9 }/ D* R3 m+ X$ D4 t* }
5. You’re getting interviews, but not offers. Research the company thoroughly before you go in. Prepare for common questions, and practice if you can. Don’t be afraid to be assertive when it comes to letting them know you are interested in the position. Close the interview by asking for the job and finding out what next steps are. And don’t forget to follow up immediately with a nice thank you email that reminds the interviewer that you are the best person for the job.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME之类的话。

What can you do to improve your chances at the interview? Try these tips f:
/ \6 f% b1 i5 v% I$ ?! ZBe Concise
: L4 }( r$ C- z. {' l0 oInterviewees rambling on is one of the most common interview blunders. You really have to listen to the question, and answer the question, and answer it concisely. So many people can't get this basic thing down. You ask them a question, and they go off on a tangent. They might think you want to hear what they're saying, but they didn't answer your question.  J$ w" W& L1 Y8 i! j  h  X0 Z" M
Provide Examples- w/ G  b' M5 K3 X" l5 N5 s* S
It's one thing to say you can do something; it's another to give examples of things you have done. Come with a toolbox of examples of the work you've done. You should come and anticipate the questions a recruiter's going to ask based on the requirement of the role. Think of recent strong strategic examples of work you've done, then when the question is asked, answer with specifics, not in generalities. You should say, ‘Yes, I've done that before. Here's an example of a time I did that…,' and then come back and ask the recruiter, ‘Did that answer your question?'"# J4 ~4 i1 u+ [1 v
Be Honest
3 X9 }6 v- Y  HSomehow, candidates get the impression that a good technique is to dance around difficult interview questions. "If you don't have a skill, just state it. Don't try to cover it up by talking and giving examples that aren't relevant. You're much better off saying you don't have that skill but perhaps you do have some related skills, and you're happy to tell them about that if they like."! K3 @+ a- F6 Z
Ask Great Questions+ e1 @6 |9 A5 R6 N7 @5 j' x
Come ready with good questions. Nothing impresses more than a really good question that not only shows you've researched the company in general, but also the specific job you're hoping to land in particular. They not only know the company, but they know the role.'"
