To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
" n+ x/ [' U4 @' N Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
) O: }+ S- R* ]! n, A9 \ Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients' t3 H. g3 W# `0 z( \* c4 N
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
) P! N+ n, D' g5 w* G Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals* s' k4 R+ Y- v' C
Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes& e1 j# l, {3 L1 `
Actively participate in training initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:% J5 z7 M6 |' D' O5 I
. K6 D0 R3 a6 }7 Q; D4 B) H High School and or Post Secondary Education6 Y z+ I( h5 M& Z$ u
Previous customer service experience2 \5 t) Q/ p/ [9 @+ Y+ |, i# F4 _0 `
Previous sales experience an asset8 X5 ?* W6 t$ P- y% j! |/ g
General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
( `1 H5 M$ t% ~$ Y5 U F9 c2 X Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
