Immigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents. ; w9 G, l6 Q4 |1 c, a1 `, ~

In the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items. 7 a' r M" o5 F' W7 U2 D, [9 m
) r$ {, Z8 G* e" K, T1 R! F9 C9 U! |“The tools are a symbol of hope for people trying to build new lives in Edmonton,” said Madeline Sarafinchan, president of the Edmonton Real Estate Board.
