First, you need to know your investment strategy. Fundamental or technical. You need to know both, to my understanding. Only how much research you put in. If you mainly do fundamental, then research fundamental stuff more, technical stuff less. I mainly do technical, so i research technical stuff more, fundamental less. For example, I want to long hlf.to, It seems that all the technical stuff is supporting a rebound from bottom. But will it go that direction? Then I search its P/E, P/B, Div/Yield, it looks not a bad one. Then there is a higher chance for it to rebound. Well, you never know. So, what if it breaks the support and heading south? For fundamental investor, probably he will hold his position. He does not care much about the fluctuation. But for me, I have to admit defeat, sell it, stop the loss. |
