s k. v2 p+ q% @; E- dEDMONTON — Southgate Centre today began a $108 million expansion to accommodate more than 30 new retailers and restaurants.

, F5 u! Q# x1 |& b8 j! d7 nThe two-year project, facing 111th Street, will add 126,000 square feet of leasable space on the ground floor — and two levels of parking above.

“Part of the redevelopment will include enhanced site lighting and closed-circuit TV security systems monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” said Southgate general manager Paul Fairbridge.
