CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

. g- w7 d1 Y( T* X! m/ ]* Y- Y& e2 b· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

; {: K& g; S! l, X' }· Operate manual and automatic shifts

. g& |) K% i8 y% _/ z· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
: G, y6 T9 z; T" HQualifications and Training Requirements

( q4 W4 g% A  y+ N# @· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license
% r' b- i, i) ^( u/ {
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

* Q9 y# `6 p" J3 M% r! `· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

" `0 M  \+ A/ O% _, N· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation
