Job Summary:
/ E0 l4 E- F. Z* }- p. CThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.- \: K3 O9 t2 B4 g$ [7 H

Schedule:
0 U! Y' s* w* ^/ p( C& ] CMonday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:" x1 ~) M6 q% s$ H0 R( _

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials6 f0 _/ ^: O* q' D
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
5 p% o: [5 F. q% iLoads and unloads non-ferrous material9 v& F% P3 `5 _& [: W8 r9 ?
Must be able to work safely at all times0 f" A' P4 H# x& a. }7 A* B/ `
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently) { ^$ q6 I' r5 ~
Performs routine housekeeping.
: B1 T* w6 U9 }+ q: mObserves and reports any safety issues
" F5 _* b5 ^5 f' C+ gOther duties may be assigned

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

9 U7 X" `8 V' p2 EAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization0 n& [( E8 H i
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Mechanically inclined an asset
