The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting./ Z: E5 P0 x U: W5 W8 F( r0 O

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
" @" r4 d& n# X0 t' x: gInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
g }- s3 u" f0 d* LLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
3 i3 Z% y1 I! M. e, _& aMust be able to work safely at all times* u. J! i% P+ c$ a; H0 `* v
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently) W, h6 @+ v/ ^" s- W
Performs routine housekeeping.

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
5 ^. P% N0 T9 \' R7 H1 THigh school diploma (Or GED)
& E" j1 [( H; L+ E5 dWell-articulated and assertive" _$ k, B8 ?2 @/ T$ c
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
